School Sports Physicals are also called pre-participation physical examinations and may be required before attending some camps as well. South Strand Internists & Urgent Care offers sports physicals in both of our locations conveniently open seven days a week.

Sports physicals are recommended for children and adults taking part in school, league or club team programs, and even before starting a new fitness regimen.  They help to ensure an athlete can safely play while identifying conditions that might affect performance. It’s also a great opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have with a health care provider.
